up drivers with riders for long drives home or even carpooling
on a day-to-day basis. Provide your personal information and
where you need to go, then let the virtual ride board do the
rest. It will let you browse through others heading in the
same direction and provide their contact information. Use

Career Center Resume
Services
Is your resume lacking a little luster? The Career Center
can help you add that touch of brilliance. The Career Center
offers a daily Resume Review walk-in service. It’s an
excellent chance for professional feedback on your resume.
Best of all, it’s free. But the services don’t
stop there. The Career Center also offers a resume referral
service. Students can submit their resume for direct referral
to employers – employers especially seeking U of I grads.
You can even pick what areas of occupation to have your resume
listed. Employers contact the Career Center about students
in certain fields, and if your area matches, they send off
your resume for you. Now, that’s anything but lackluster.
