Student Affairs Development
Student Affairs
Development is responsible for raising funding for campus-wide leadership
and scholarship programs as well as the fundraising efforts of the
fourteen Student Affairs departments.
Student Affairs Development works closely with the departments of
Student Affairs, alumni members of the Student Affairs' Advisory
Council, Campus Development and the University of Illinois Foundation
to promote the programs and activities available through Student
Affairs to the students at Illinois.
Student Affairs Development's mission is to create mutually beneficial relationships among University of Illinois alumni, friends, and students resulting in personal and financial investments in campus-wide student-focused programs, services, and facilities.
Student Affairs Development list of accomplishments include:
- Illinois
Leadership, a premier leadership program which will offer
leadership training to more than 450 students this school year.
- The James
Newton Matthews Scholars, a merit-based scholarship program currently
awarding 150 scholarships annually.
- The Generation
to Generation Scholarship Program, a need- and merit-based scholarship
program currently awarding 160 scholarships annually.
- Student Leadership
Awards and Scholarships, currently honoring excellence in leadership
to more than 25 students and 3 student organizations. If you would
