Committee on a Sustainable Campus Environment |
| The Committee on a Sustainable Campus
Environment is established for the purpose of continuing to bring
our academic and business operations and management of our buildings
and grounds in line with accepted principles of sustainability, and
to demonstrate to ourselves, our colleagues, our students, and the
public, our progress toward being a sustainable campus. The primary tasks for this year will be to: 1. Develop a program statement for a green building on campus 2. Develop benchmarks for a sustainable campus rating system 3. Provide appropriate changes to the Campus Administrative Manual (CAM) 4. Develop and submit Committee budget 5. Develop a charge for the following subcommittees: • Building Design & Maintenance • Energy/Renewable Energy Projects • Landscape Design & Maintenance • Leadership Accountability • Recycling/Composting |
