Board of Fraternity Affairs |
| The board is the campus’ primary
advisory body on policy for men’s fraternities, their governance
and operations. The board performs a judicial function both as an
appellate body and a forum of original jurisdiction for serious conduct
problems. |

6 student members (Black Greek Council President or designee; Interfraternity
Council President or designee; United Greek Council President or designee;
three fraternity presidents)
3 faculty/staff members
3 alumni members
2 ex officio members (Dean of Students; Assistant Dean of Students
for Greek Affairs) |

The board meets every other week. There is no external time commitment;
however, board members are occasionally required to attend IFC-related
functions.The Board of Fraternity Affairs is appointed on a different
cycle and therefore not open for nominations to the Vice Chancellor
for Student Affairs at this time. |

Board of Sorority Affairs |
| The board is the campus’ primary
advisory body on policy for women’s fraternities, their governance,
and their operations. The board performs a judicial function both
as an appellate body and a forum of original jurisdiction for serious
conduct problems. |

6 student members (Panhellenic Council President/representative; Black
Greek Council President/representative; United Greek Council President/representative;
3 chapter presidents)
3 faculty/staff members
3 community/alumnae members
2 ex officio members (Dean of Students or designee; Assistant Dean
of Students for Greek Affairs) |

The Board meets every 3 weeks for approximately 2 - 2 1/2 hours
on each occasion. External time commitment entails participation
in major Panhellenic events, task forces, seminars or workshops. The Board of Sorority Affairs is appointed on a different
cycle and therefore not open for nominations to the Vice Chancellor
for Student Affairs at this time. |
