Assessment Committee

The Student Affairs Assessment Committee is comprised of knowledgeable professionals who either conduct assessment for their departments or provide coordination of those efforts. Each committee member brings valuable knowledge and experience to the work of this committee.

The Assessment Committee’s charge is to:

  • Assist the Coordinator of Assessment for Student Affairs, in advancing the commitment to assessment, continuing to develop this as an area of professional competence for Student Affairs staff, and using the results to continuously improve the quality of programs, services, and facilities for students and the campus community.
  • Identify assessment and evaluation needs in order to develop and conduct developmental training that will increase staff members’ knowledge, professional competence, and confidence in using assessment approaches and integrating assessment design into new programs and services.
  • Continue to identify studies, publications, and Student Affairs’ organizations at other universities pertinent to our work in assessment.
