Student Advisory Council

The Student Affairs Advisory Council consists of alumni with careers in many professions, such as law, medicine, financial analysis, banking, investment funds, marketing, and consulting. All members share the common experience of having served as influential student leaders at the Urbana campus.

Leading a student organization, being involved in student government, volunteer service, an advisory board, or intern has served as a valuable platform and training ground for their professional roles and engagement in their current communities. The Council members share their professional expertise and unique experiences, provide valuable counsel, and commit their time and resources to Student Affairs’ initiatives. Many volunteer their time and talents as facilitators and coaches for students participating in the Illinois Leadership programs.

The Student Affairs Advisory Council meets twice a year to discuss potential new initiatives and the state of Student Affairs at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
